To quote the gents on the Flop House podcast. This was “a bad movie that I kinda liked”.

The first one was memorable for the batshit plot shifts that it made, this one is largely forgettable and is a stamped-out home invasion/revenge flick. Which is a shame because Alvarez was one half of the writing crew and I’ve loved pretty much everything he’s touched so far.

I do love the concept of the main character, even though, in his own words, he’s a broken “monster” of person. After two films of fucked up life choices  on his part, you can only feel so compassionate for the old navy seal.  Whenever he is killed by someone, he’ll have certainly earned it.

I know this is harsh but, this is definitely a perfect in-flight infotainment flick.
