This movie was a genuine surprise for me. The plot zigged and zagged so unexpectedly! And even though it goes very, very dark at times, it skillfully stays, miraculously, rooted in real human messiness.  

An aptly named film and easily my favorite Zendaya movie. I’ll always love Pattinson’s work in The Lighthouse, but this also is some of his best work, albeit in a very different way. 

I went in cold and benefitted drastically by doing so. If you can, do the same.
