I really liked the first one and Weaving has charisma for days in both these films. She’s just so good! This second one is great too but it diverts more from its horror roots and goes for a little too much comedy. And the surprises of the first film are definitely out of the bag from the outset, so it has a bit of a handicap from the get-go.

Watching these for the first time back to back is the way to go. Kinda like watching Crank 1 and 2 in one sitting.
