Giving this one 4 even though my gut says 3.5. I just know as I sit with it, it’ll feel more whole in my head. Right now though it’s got my mind racing and that’s always a good thing. This is dubbed a horror film but it barely is. Sure, It’s creepy at times, but not exactly scary really. Which I know is kind of the point of the liminal sub genre of horror. Anyways. Everything about this film is top notch across the board and on paper, this film should be boring AF. But it’s not. Far from it. And that’s about as much of a glowing endorsement of a feature length about a labyrinth of shifting sulfur colored rooms as I could give. It’s definitely the most interesting film I’ve seen this year.
