It's hard to believe that there isn't a much gorier (and better) edit of this film somewhere out there. The acting was great and the film looked amazing, but the film had some chances it could've taken narratively that it just didn't. So we are left with this version. A version that is super trope-y and a bit anemic. Which is a shame really, as there are some good scenes here throughout and its premise is promising. But, because it constantly pulls its punches, we get a movie that was (most definitely) branded as an extra-horny, sex-filled horror film that has barely any nudity and only three strong gore pieces (one of which is cheap, but two are well earned) during it's entire 90 minutes. So yeah, it's a decent stream for you and that pocket of friends who like PG13 horror films.
